“Take Two” was written and directed by Rober Kolar and is based on his life story. The film follows a cynical, burned-out Hollywood producer who seeks redemption by cleaning up his life in order to fight for custody of a daughter born from his earlier reckless lifestyle. The film was produced in association with Movies with Mission and Cornerstone Productions, LLC.
I was cast as Nicole, a character who represents an early point of grounding and ease when Clay first arrives in his new small-town life in Montana. Her warmth, love of dogs, and shared moments around pool help him feel at home during a period of transition. Nicole exists in the story before the pivotal revelation of his daughter’s existence —before Clay confronts his deeper responsibility and leaves old life patterns behind.
The film premiered on Father’s Day at the historic Ellen Theatre in Bozeman, Montana, a fitting context for a story centered on fatherhood, accountability, and personal growth.
